Cabin on the Creek

Building from the ground up, this design was intended as a weekend getaway co-house. With a shared living space and private bedrooms on opposite sides of the house. Above the kitchen is a cozy loft for the kids to sleep and hang out. This straw bale house is super energy efficient. The thick walled home easily maintains a comfortable temperature whether it’s a cold mountain morning or a scorching hot summer day. A large deck overlooks the beautiful running creek.
